Boosting Your Income: 5 Hacks

We understand that sometimes money can get tight. Here are 5 ways you may be able to boost your income which may ease your financial stress.

Do you find yourself to sometimes be stuck for money between your pay cheques? Don’t worry – we have all been there!

Here are some financially boosting hacks that may allow you to get some extra cash, so that you have more money to spend on the important things in your life.

01. Reap the rewards

Make the most out of company benefits that you are entitled to. This could be anything from employee discounts, supermarket loyalty rewards and insurance perks. You can use this benefits calculator to see what you are entitled to.

02. Cancel unnecessary subscriptions

This one is pretty much self-explanatory – think about what subscriptions you need and which you use. Do you really need NOWTV, Netflix, Sky TV and Disney+? Prioritise your subscriptions and cancel any you don’t need – this could boost your income significantly.

03. Get paid to give your opinion

A simple way to earn some extra cash from time to time, is to complete online paid surveys for businesses. You can earn anything from £1-£100 when completing a survey – make the most of this!

04. Consider working overtime

If you have the option of picking up overtime, this may be worth doing if you are looking to boost your income. If your employer pays overtime and allows it you could try extending your shift by an hour or two or coming in slightly earlier each day. You would notice a significant increase on your next payday which would make it all worth it!

05. Have a clear-out

We are all guilty of sometimes holding on to items we no longer use – consider selling these items online for extra cash. That coat you never wear, that game you no longer play, that bag that hasn’t left your house in over 2 years; could all earn you some extra cash.
